The old Templemore graveyard is marked on the 1840 ordnance survey maps. It is 200 yards north of four other burial grounds at Straide Abbey (see map below), and is completely surrounded by farmland with no easy access. The graveyard was completely overgrown with only five legible headstones and the apparent ruins of an old church showing above the high grass and weeds.
